Sling Media is a digital lifestyle products company, focused on creating empowering entertainment experiences for consumers.  Sling Media’s award winning Slingbox turns any Internet-connected PC, Mac, or mobile device into your home television allowing you to watch your TV virtually anywhere in the world.  The Sling Entertainment Group is a division of Sling Media and will deliver new applications and services enabled by the Slingbox’s marriage of familiar TV programming and richly interactive web-connected devices.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of internal display and video ad campaigns this includes campaign trafficking, targeting, pacing, optimization, and reporting .
  • Work with Director to develop partner integration documentation and pre-launch ad testing programs.
  • Interact with Product Management, Partners and ad server vendor to insure a smooth implementation of our ad serving solution.
  • Help partners troubleshoot ad delivery and provide them with inventory forecasts .
  • Manage advertiser reconciliation and billing coordination with finance department
  • Traffic and maintain ad campaigns.
  • Manage campaign process, including requesting creative and troubleshooting ad issues.
  • Review creative submissions to meet technical specifications.
  • Test creative as needed for site quality assurance.
  • Generate campaign reports for clients, partners and finance team.
  • Reconcile all campaigns with third party data.
  • Assist Partners with creative specification inquiries.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and partners

Qualifications

  • At least one year of trafficking experience using DART, OAS, ATLAS or other leading ad servers
  • Knowledge of online ad serving (video ad experience a strong plus)
  • Comfort and experience with a fast paced start-up environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Omniture or similar web analytics
  • Hands on experience with all the common online pricing systems, and ability to back into a CPM from projected CPC returns, and manage ad campaigns to deliver that outcome.
  • Experience in client services and working in a customer facing role preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented nature.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Familiarity with HTML, XML, Flash and rich media.
  • BS/BA Degree required
  • Television broadcast standards – analog and digital such as NTSC, PAL, etc.
